Marcel's Story
Hello! Bonjour! Dag! Guten Tag!
Since 1986, I have been teaching French at an international/American school outside of London. My students are wonderful, and I derive a lot of joy and sustenance from my job. Effectively, I am married to my job. Outside of school hours, I have a rich life with numerous close friends, friends, and acquaintances. As you might recall, I was born in Holland. My parents came from Indonesia (the former "Dutch East Indies"). I travel very often to Holland and France. I still have many relatives in Holland. Naturally, I return to the US to see family and friends. Sadly, in April 2009, my mum passed away.
